FML.
So 3 of the applications that I sent in to OSU had cover letters attached that were for the Ohio News Network. To show how much the HR dept there looks at them, all three were referred to hiring managers, who have yet to call me. Probably because they actually DO read the cover letters.
I got an email from Max and Ermas tech support center telling me that the position I applied for earlier today had already been filled. (so why was it still being advertised?)
I didn’t get the supervisor position at work. Apparently part-timers who have 6 months more experience at the desk (I’ve been with the company longer) have more credit than me. That and she’s 27, and apparently “it would just look bad to her if someone younger was her boss” (her previous boss was 5 years younger than her)
Oh, but I am definitely next in line for the next supervisor position that opens.

As long as I continue to work hard and be bubbly, and get those positive comment cards.
Sorry for the negativity. It’s just that I don’t want to complain about it to the people around me, but I need to get it out.
Hopefully, I’ll have better more cheerful and bubbly news next post.
